Open questions to confirm
These appear as “To confirm” pins on the screens.
- B5Booking rules
- Do some providers only see new or only returning patients, or only certain visit types at certain locations? Who sets and updates these rules?
- B9“Patient portal”
- When you say “patient portal”, do you mean athenahealth’s portal, a new Medical Arts portal, or both? Should returning patients sign in before booking?
- B11When intake is completed
- Should intake be done right after booking, a set number of days before the visit, or at check-in? What happens if it isn’t finished?
- B14Who reviews order sets
- Who reviews suggested order sets: only the treating provider, or can a nurse or medical assistant prepare them first for the provider to sign?
- B19Our app vs athenahealth’s app
- Should the later patient app be a Medical Arts-branded app, or should some features rely on athenahealth’s own patient app?
